At BitCoding, we are looking for a Mid-Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis (4 hours per day – 5 days a week from 12 PM to 4 PM, Sunday to Thursday ) to help us ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our web applications. This opportunity is available only for candidates residing in Syria (Damascus) .

🔹 Who We Are Looking For:
We need an experienced and detail-oriented QA Specialist who has:

+2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance for web applications.
Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing , with a strong focus on ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Deep understanding of software testing principles , methodologies, and best practices, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
Experience designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies for complex web applications.
Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Jest, with hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured to validate endpoints, responses, and integrations.
Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner to evaluate application scalability, responsiveness, and reliability under load.
Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility across platforms and devices.
Proficiency in version control systems like Git and collaboration tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Familiarity  with web security testing practices, including identifying vulnerabilities, ensuring API security, and protecting sensitive data.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and ensure a smooth user experience.
Previous experience working with real-time applications or technologies such as WebSockets, Pusher, or Firebase Real-time Database is a plus.

⏰ Working Hours:
From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Damascus Time) – Sunday to Thursday (4 hours/day, 5 days a week ).

As part of our team, you will:

-Develop and implement end-to-end test strategies to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our web applications.
-Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to streamline quality assurance processes and improve testing efficiency.
-Conduct manual testing for critical features and edge cases that require human validation.
-Perform API testing to validate endpoints, responses, and integrations with third-party services.
-Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar), ensuring timely resolution.
-Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
-Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all web applications, including mobile responsiveness.
-Perform performance testing to identify bottlenecks, optimize application speed, and ensure scalability under heavy loads.
-Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across the application.
-Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in software testing and quality assurance, bringing innovative solutions to the team.
